What is the GA Promise Scholarship?
The Georgia Promise Scholarship is an educational initiative that provides families with up to $6,500 per year to help cover approved non-public education expenses for children in grades K-12. This funding can be used for private school tuition, tutoring services, and other qualified educational costs. To qualify, students must reside in a designated public school attendance zone listed by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement and have been enrolled in a Georgia public school for two consecutive semesters OR be a rising kindergartner in the fall. Additionally, at least one parent must have lived in Georgia for over a year, except for those in active military service. Visit the Georgia Promise Scholarship webiste to learn more.
